James Hill Wood
James Hill Wood, 65, of Woodville, Virginia, died Friday, February 24 at his home after several months of failing health.
Mr. Wood a native of Rappahannock, was a son of the late James Barnett Wood and Nellie Johnson Wood.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph I. Brown of Culpeper; one son, James Hill Wood, Jr., Berryville; one brother, Henry B. Wood of Woodville; three grandchildren and one half sister, Mrs. Gordon Hilldrup of Chancellor, Va. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 26 in the Woodville Cemetery with the Rev. B. Gayle Titchnell officiating.
Pallbearers were W. A. Dulaney, Raymond Johnson, Weldon Burke, Emory Conners, H. B. Wood, Jr. and Joel L. Jenkins.
Clore Funeral Home was in .charge of arrangements.
