District Contest
Harrison Powers of the Flint Hill Senior 4-H Club placed third in the District Sheep Shearing Contest held April 26 at the Front Royal Beef Cattle Research Center.
Winners of the contest and their respective total scores were: First, Tommy Trent of Fairfax County 93.6; Second, Mark Bosserman of Page County 89.9; Harrison Powers, Rappahannock County 89.85; Emmery of Fairfax 83.95 and Shackelford of Stafford County 83.25 points.
