Shearing instructions were given by George Allen, Sheep Specialist of V.P.I: and County Agents of neighboring counties. Other Rappahannock 4-H members receiving shearing instructions included Dunny Eastham, Jimmy and Clifford Latham, Milton Gore, Netus Dodson, Freddy Yourtgman and George Powers.
Glenn Updike, now attending V.P.I., will compete in the SouthWestern. District contest to be held next week.
District winners will compete for the State Championship during 4-H Short Course in June with the winrter going on to the National to be held at Indianapolis in September.
