Incentive Award
The largest incentive award ever given at Chanute Air Force Base, 111. was recently presented to Richard W. (Bill) Tobin of Thomasboro, 111., formerly of Bentonvrlle, Warren County, Virginia. Mr. Tobin is a supervisor in the Department of Advanced Aircraft Maintenance Training. He received a check for $825 for a suggestion concerning a new adjustment procedure used in accomplishing the complete alignment of the C-ll jet instrument trainer, which resulted in intangible benefits and a first year savings of $114,240 to the Air Force.
Mr. Tobin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tobin of Bentonville and a nephew of Mrs. P. D. Dennis of Flint Hill.
