Attends Mayors' Luncheon
Mrs. Wallace Critzcr, mayor of Washington, Va., attended a luncheon Friday in Winchester in connection with the Apple Blossom Festival. This annual event, honors the mayors of surrounding cities and towns.
Special guests at the luncheon were Robert Porterfield, founder and managing director of. the fam- - ous Barter Theatre at Abingdon, Va. and Mr. Creech, father of Queen Shenandoah XXXI'V.
Also introduced to the visiting mayors were Miss Nancy Anne Fleming of Michigan, winner of the 1960 Miss America Contest and Miss Shelley Mann of Arlington, Olympic swimming champion.
After the luncheon, the mayors rode in cars in the festival parade.
