Places In Livestock ~

Judging Contest.

Tish Kilby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Kilby of Sperryville, placed 5th in 4-H livestock judging contest held Saturday at Verona. This i$ Tish’s first year as a member of the Rappahannock 4-H Judging Team. She was competing with 40 other 4-H’ers and some were veteran judges.

Other 4-H’ers from this county on the team were Harrison Powers and Mark Harris. Scores were: Tish 369; Harrison 283; Mark 282.

There were two classes of sheep, 2 classes of cattle and 2 classes of hogs judged. Rappahannock placed 9th in the contest. Clyde Givens, Ass’c Agent, accompanied the team to the contest.
