Rummage Sales Over
Saturday was the last day of the annual May Rummage Sale sponsored each Friday and Saturday by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company.
About $400 was realized during the month from the articles sold.
The ladies are most appreciative of both the donations to the sale and also the patronage of the buyers, as both were needed for a successful outcome.
Monday was a busy day of packing and putting away unsold articles. These will be stored until September 1 when the Rummage Sale will again be open for business.
Featured articles during the month of September will be woolens and back to school clothes. Donations of this type will again be solicited a week in advance of the September 1st opening.
NOTICE
There will be a revival held at the old theatre building in Washington, Virginia beginning. June 3rd. The Calvary Faith Tabernacle is sponsoring the services which begin at 7:45 p.m. DST.
