Dear Editor—
I have been reading your very newsy paper, especially articles on our county officers’ duties and neglect of duties. Does this just apply to the Sheriff? Why doesn’t our' Board of Supervisors look around and see where they stand and see if there are no; other very important duties being let go by.
I venture to say we would not have had this raise in taxes of. everybody had attended to their business.
What will become of the $15,950? Someone should see that this goes to our school debt, and not scattered to the four winds, and no one knows where it goes.
