Boy Scout Camporee

Saturday and Sunday, June 3rd and 4th DST, Sperryville Boy Scout troop 65 will be the host to twelve other scout troops ajid leaders at the spring camporee to be held on the property adjoining the new pond of C. E. Johnson, Jr. in Jenkins Hollow.

Troops will be participating in various tests and contests on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday at approximately 8:30 p.m. there will be a campfire service with Inves- " titure Service for new tenderfoot scouts. Taps 10:30 p.m. * Sunday the regular camp routine will be followed with a religious service from 9 to 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Warren Wil-: bur of Flint Hill. This will be followed by troop demonstrations, lunch, closing ceremony and they will break camp at 2 p.m.

The Sperryville troop is the . newest in the county and was there fore asked to be host for the cam- . porec. They expect about 150 boys.
