A total of 59 lambs were exhibited by sixteen club members from Rappahannock, Page and Frederick counties. All lambs were officially graded by a representative of the Division of Markets with 47 head grading prime and but 12 head grading choice.
Rappahannock Club members did well. Nine 4-iH' members from this county exhibited 33 lambs of which a whopping 88% graded prime and 12% choice. Congratulations!! . C; .wj
There were 16 entries in the Singles Class which were judged as follows: 1st place and Grand Champion, Galen Gochenour of Page County. 2nd place and Reserve Champion, Francis Updike of Rappahannock County. 3rd place, Glen Updike of Rappahannock. 4th place, Donny Atwood, Page; 5th place Lyle Updike, Rappahannock; 6th Anna Sites, Rappahannock; 7th place Wayne Phelps, Frederick County; 8th place Davi<f Lyne, Rappahannock; 9th place Milton Gere, Rappahannock; 10th place Gary Bauserman of Page.
Rappahannock Club members swept the pen-of-three Class in taking the first seven places of the nine entries. Results were 1st place and Grand Champion, Francis Updike; 2nd place and Reserve Champion Lyle Updike; 3rd Glen Milton Gore; 6th Anna Sites; 7th Jerry Foster; 8th Gary Bauserman, Page County and 9th Stevie Huffman of Frederick County.
