Housing Loan Funds

Farmers Home Administration coyntv supervisor, John G. Castles said today that owners of farms who need to replace or repair houses and other essential farm service buildings are showing a great deal of interest in the agency’s farm ' housing loan program.
These loans are available to qualified owners of all sizes of farms provided the farm will produce at least $400 worth of commodities for sale or home use each year, based on 1944 prices. Additional loan funds have recently been made available for this type of credit.
Farm housing funds may be used for many purposes. They may kitchen remodeling, ahome water systems, added bathrooms, modern farm service buildings for crop ^ storage and housing livestock and * other installations needed to meet modern demands on profitable farms.
