There will be a double header •*t Horse Shoe Diamond Sunday, June 18 at 1:30 p.m. (EST). The Sperryville Tigers vs Luray and Louisia. The Tigers are hoping to get back on rheir winning strdak 'again after winning 10 games straight, the Culpeper Dragons downed them Sunday with a score of 4-3. A home run by Richard Slaughter with a man on tied the score with the Dragons in the 8th inning 3 to 3. The Dragons got away with another score in the 9th inning in which the Tigers could not catch up. Big left hander George Love was throwing all he had to hold the Tigers down. Left hander Richard Slaughter went all the way for the Tigers. Manager Moody Aylor says he thinks the Tigers might take both games Sunday. Thomas Slaughter will go against Luray and Ray Jackson against Louisia.

Sperryville Tigers will play the Front Royal Bombs on Saturday, June 24th att2 p.m. (EST) at Horseshoe Diamond. After die game the team will sponsor a shooting match. A live pig, turkeys and hens will be given to the winners. 12 and 16 guage shot guns only. Also following the gatfie, the Sperryvllc Tigers will sponsor a cake walk. Please come out and join in the fun.
