Miss Joyce Mclnturff and Miss Dorothy Hawkins entertained in honor of Miss Jeanetta Lillard at a surprise bridal shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Mclnturff recently. Miss Lillard j is engaged to Robert Hawkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins of Washington, Va. Miss Lillard received many lovely gifts that were greatly admired and delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses.
Mrs. J. C. Fincham attended the first birthday celebration of her granddaughter, Robin, at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. James Garwood in Manassas on Sunday. Other relatives attending the birthday party were Mr. and Mrs. Roland Welch and sons, Roger, Bill and Dale and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Sealock.
Rev. and Mrs. Warren Wilbur in celebration of their fifth anniversary, are spending today in Richmond. This is their first visit to that city and they will sight see and shop.
