Those students receiving their caps are Mrs. Rae Courtney, Mrs. Isabel DeBarr, Mrs. Marguerite Bartley, all of Orange; Mrs. Patsy B. West, Mrs. Annie Yates of Culpeper, Miss Emma A|rrington, and Miss Theodora Grlayson of Jeffersonton. The prc-clii ical period consists of three hours of instruction per day for the first 180 days the public schools a-e in session. Mrs. J. N. Stover, RN, is the instructor of these classes.
Pre-clinical classes art held in the basement of the cou tty court house building. Anyone interested in this class should write to Mrs. James Stover, Box 63If Culpeper, Va. or they may write ttrthe office of the Superintendent of Schools for information. Anyone interested in the August 29th class should
put their application inj at once before the quota is filled. The clinical period consists of 8 months of training at the University of Virginia Hospital after completing the pre-clinical period at Culpeper. After completion of both programs, students are eligible to take the state examination. Upon passing the examination the student becomes a Licensed Practical Nurse.
The class is open to Negro and White adults under 50 age.
