Fort Sam Houston, Tex.-Army Capt. John C. Adams, son of Mrs. Matilda J. Walker, Washington, Va.t completed the eightweek officer orientation course at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texr, May 26.
The course is designed to familiarize newly commissioned officers with the duties and responsibilities of a Medical Corps officer. During the course Capt. Adams received instruction in the treatment of battle injuries, supply, administration and preventive medicine techniques used to detect health hazards.
The 35-year-old captain is a 1943 graduate of Washington High Sichool and a 1954 graduate of the University of Oregon Dental School, Portland. He iis at member of Psi Omega and Theta D^Ita Phi fraternities.
