FHA Convention
Five hundred members of the Virginia Association, Future Homemakers of America Chapters in Virginia high schools will meet in Roanoke at Hotel Roanoke on June 19 for their Sixteenth Annual state Convention. They represent 15,000 members of the 270 FHA Chapters throughout the State. The theme for the convention is ' ‘ U nderstand ing—The Key to Happy Family Living.”
Representing the Rappahannock Chapter will be Sue Many, Bonnie Brown, Mary Frances Pullen and Mrs. Glenna Bennett, home Lconomics teacher at. Rappahannock County High School, who is advisor to the local chapter FHA.
The convention will open Monday evening, June 19. Convention delegates will be welcomed by Carol Cash, State FHA president and by Mrs. (Helen C. Hopper, Assistant State Supervisor, Home Economics Education, and State FHA adviser.
