Pursuant to the provisions of a certain deed of trust executed by Mabel A. Waller, widow, to Walter H Robertson, Trustee, dated October 2, 1953, and recorded October 13, 1953, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 60, page 214 et seq„ to secure the payment of a debt therein described, default having been made in the payment of said debt and at the request of the legal holders thereof (the debt and obligations secured by said deed of trust having been declared by the holders to be due and payabltj, the undersigned, James W. Fletcher, (who was substituted in the place and stead of Walter H. Robertson, deceased trustee, by order of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, entered on May 8. 1961, and recorded in Chancery Order Book No. 11, page 27, and Deed Book 74, pages 233 and 234,) having been requested to act by. the holders of said obligations, will offer for sale at public auction, to the highest bidder or bidders, at the front door of the Court House of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Washington, Virginia, on Saturday, July 1, 1961, at 10:00 A. M. (E. D. T.) or 9:09 A M (E.S. T.) the following described property, to-wit:
(1) All that certain lot or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon, lying and being situate in or near the Village of Amissville, Rappahannock County, Virginia, adjoining the lands of Latham, Cropp and others, and known as the Colbert Lot. and containing 7!/2 acres, be the same more of less:
(2) All of that certein lot, with the buildings and improvements thefeon, lying and being situate at Amissville, Rappahannock County, Virginia, adjoining the first mentioned above property, and being on the South side of State Highway leading from Warrenton to Washington, Virginia, and being known as the Cropp Property, and described as containing 1 acre, which amount has now been reduced by a small tract of land conveyed by R. E. Luttrell, to the Commonwealth of Virginia, for Road purposes, by deed dated the 17th day of April, 1929, and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 35, at page 102, and supposed to contain .77 of an acre, of which .33 of an acre was land previously owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia, leaving the acreage hereby conveyed undetermined but supposed to be about Vi of an acre.”
