A gown of taffeta overlaid with lace was worn by the bf-ide. Styled with a bateau neckline and bracelet length sleeves, the f tted bodice had a belt finished with a tailored bow. The skirt was voluminous. The bridegroom's gift, a small cross set with a diamond, was worn by the bride. She carried a white orchid arranged with stephanotis and lilies of the valley.
