Mr. and Mrs. J. R, Devers entertained at a family dinner on Tuesday evening having as guests Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler, their house guests, M/Sgt. and Mrs. A. L. Swindler, Jr. and son Mike, Bill Swindler, Bob Estes, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Swindler and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Way land and son Greg.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bunting and I two children of Richmond spent the weekend at Mt. Vernon Farm with Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Black.
Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Roy Swindler had as dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Wayland, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler, M/Sgt. and Mrs. A. L. Swindler, Jr., and Robert Estes. Monday the group was entertained for dinner by Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler who also had Mrs. Net us Brown as their guest. Thursday M/Sgt. and Mrs. Swindler will leave for their post in Nebraska
Eld. and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily spent the weekend in Bentonville where they were over night guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Pelham Morrison.
Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brown and Mrs. Netus Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bowling of Fredericksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Carter, Richmond, M/Sgt. and Mrs. A. L. Swindler, Jr. and son Mike.
