NORFOLK, Va. (FHTNC) —Daniel EL Campbell, airman, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard D. Campbell of Flint Hill, Va., is serving with Fighter Squadron 41 at the Naval Air Station, Oceana, Va. The squadron returned to Norfolk, Va., Dec. 19, aboard the attack aircraft carrier USS Independence upon completion of a tour with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean.

During the cruise, squadron members visited ports in France, Italy, Greece and Turkey. The squadron flies McDonnell “Demon” supersonic, all-weather jet fighters.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. (AlHTNC)—Army Pvt. John A. Fudd, whose wife, Carrie, lives on Route 1, Amissville, Va., completed the Seven-week offset press operation course at The Engineer School, Fort Belvoir, Va., Dec. 15. Fudd was trained in the operation and adjustments required of offset presses to produce exact reproductions of copy. He also received instruction in platemaking tnd process photography. . .The 24-year-old soldier, son of » ~re' John A.
