John Way land and family.
M/Sgt. and Mrs. George Terry and family were overnight guests Wednesday of Mrs. Terry’s mother, Mrs. B. R. Armel and Mr. Armel. Thursday the Terrys left for Fort Eustis where Sgt. Terry is: now stationed with the U. S. Army.
On New Years Eve Mrs. T. C. Lea entertained for dinner. Her guests were Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. of Richmond, Pete Ernest of Louisa, Mr. arid Mrs. John Cargill, Jr., Miss Annie Miller Almond and Mrs. Lewis Turner.
Mrs. Joe Turner and daughter Emily Ann of South Hill were overnight guests Saturday of Mrs. L. J. Turner. John Turner returned to the University of Virginia and Miss Carolyn Turner returned to Lynchburg College Tuesday after spending the holidays with Mrs. Turner.
