Hobby Show At Local
Elementary School
The students and faculty of the Washington Elementary School inCte the public to come to the school on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, between the hours of 10:00 a. m. to 3:15 p. m. to view the Hobby Show on display in the school library. These hobbies were drawn from grades 3-7. They were judged by Mr. James Eavey, director of insttuetion for this county and the following prizes were awarded: 1st prize,. Jean Carter Moffett of Washington, Va., 5th grader, for handicraft work using ice cream sticks. 2nd prize, Diana Carr of Washington, Va., 7th grader, for her postcard collection. 3rd prize, Susan Dodson of Flint Hill, Va.„ for her needlework (4th gradfcr).
