This week of course the Clans gather from near ,and far in this country as well as in the homeland in honor of their patron Saint Patrick. 1962 will mark the 557th anniversary of his birth in a little town in Roman Britian. Christianity had been savagely persecuted by the Romans and there were many martyrs in the land. Patrick, or Patridus, the “noble one” spent the early years of his life with his family and led a normal existence of a boy his age.
