The main purpose of the program is to assist students in selecting a career emphasizing opportunities available in the field of health. A side-line, long-range benefit of the program lies in its tendancy to relieve the unemployment problem faced by the state and the nation. The career program as presented by Mrs. Warren is endorsed by the State Department of Education’s Guidance and Testing section and is conducted with the cooperation of professional health organizations and state groups havirig a major interest in health. The organizations, together with many other state and national groups, have expressed their enthusiasm for the contributions of the program as have high school counselors, recognizing its value for downto.earth assistance to young people.
