in tne closing days of his campaign, Robinson said he was encouraged by the fact that pemocrats, Republicans and Liberals alike have said they will vote for him and are supporting him openly and actively.

“‘These are the same people,” Robinson stated, “who voiced their opposition to Mr. Kennedy in 1960 and the national picture today is more acute and more aggravated.”

Robinson’s final campaign effort will take place on Monday at 7 p.m. when he appears on Channel 3, WSVA in Harrisonburg. At that time he will answer questions either written in advance or telephoned that night by the viewing audience.

Culpeper Hospital Stockholders Meet Fri. A called meeting of stockholders of Culpeper Memorial Hospital will be held this Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church.

Purpose will be to consider a recommendation of the Board of Directors to borrow money to build a doctors’ office building on grounds of the hospital.

Trials November 10

The annual Madison Wild Life Association bird dog trials will take place Saturday, Nov. 10, commencing at 10 a.m., on the farm of Ernest Yowell near Madison, according to announcement yesterday.

Drawings for places will be held Friday evening in the Madison War Memorial Building, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m.

The committee' in charge hopes for a large turnout of local dogs.
