Why Not Debate?
An election day draws ne§r, one of the questions that ip puzzling to so many of ps is: ' Why does John O, liarah, Jr., refuse to debate publicly with J. Kenneth Robinson?
This would be an ideal way to let the voting public know jq*t where each candidate stands on the questions of the day and how they propose to deal with the problems confronting us in these critical times.
What does Mr. Marsh have to conceal? He is being unfair to his supporters and to the votets in refusing to accept Mr. Rpbinson’s challenge, for by his refusal one can only surmise thgt he is afraid to meet his opponent on the. debating platform.
How can Mr. Marsh effectively debate in Congress, with many men, if he cannot jfwe Hr. Robinson, one man?
