Rappahannock Lions held its regular supper meeting October 24 at Hampton Inn. The attendance was particularly good with several visitors present.
The chief topic for discussion was arranging for distribution of Christmas baskets for the coming season.
Lion Paul Nichols announced that dues were due. We sometimes wonder if he uses the same calendar that others do.
Lion Frank Louchee urges more people to attend the First Aid classes sponsored by the Club. Classes are held each Monday night at 7:30 at the Parish Hall.
Lion Jim Bill Coates dispensed fruit cakes to the various members, and informed Harry Lee Smith that he would be on 24 hour call to replenish his stock. We feel sure that that the public is delighted to know that these delicious cakes are again on sale and now available. For your Thanksgiving and Christmas cakes call any Lion.
