Fann Bureau Adopts
Resolutions at Annual Meet
At the annua] Membership Meeting of the Rappahannock bounty Farm Bureau, held Oct. ] !9, the following resolutions ] vere adopted on local matters: i
(1) Resolved that the Rappa- i lannock County Farm Bureau 1 •equest the Virginia State High- i vay Commission to place a traf- : fie caution light at the main ' ntersection in Sperryville.
(2) Resolved that the Virginia State Corporation Commission se requested to make a study and report on telephone rates and service in the Sperryville, Virginia area which is covered by the YUkon 7 exchange and that this study be made by the State independent of the C. & P. Telephone Company of Virginia.
(3) Resolved that the Virginia Farm Bureau request that the proper officials in the State make a study of what is a safe speed on secondary roads and whether markings are necessary to slow down some drivers in the interest of greater safety; and
Be it further Resolved that the President of the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau arrange for a meeting with the Superintendent of Schools at the next County Farm Bureau Directors’ Meeting to discuss the matter of safety of school buses, especially in connection with
