Apologies to Bonnie and Diane Nethers whom I unintentionally omitted last week from the twins, list. They make our number of twins even more impressive. Also slighted were Judi North who candy-stripes at the Warren Memorial Hospital and Lil Reeve who also worked on the Drive. (Concessions were closed last weekend).
RCHS students are now involved in the annual magazine campaign. Last year we far over-reached our goal. I hope this years’ campaign will be as successfully Basketball practice begins today. Around 50 boys have signed up to try out for it.
Miss Zinn and Mrs. Palmer have left us for greener pastures. They along with Mrs. Matilda Walker, have gone to Richmond to a state VEA meeting as Rappahannock County representatives. I know they will enjoy their rest.
Some Seniors have been busy applying for the SAT (otherwise known as college boards) and to colleges.
The year seems to be flying away and not giving us enough time to make decisions involving “what’s next”.
P.S. I wonder if we’ll have another ire drill anytime soon?
