James Massie returned Wednesday from a business trip to Sarasota, Florida.

P. W. Scudere entered Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday for surgery. Mrs. Scuderc is spending several days in Front Royal with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Price.

Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brock for a picnic lunch were Mrs. Brock’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hamer and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weatherson and two children of Arlington, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hamer and three children of Lewistown, Pa. Miss Carolyn Brock of Washington, D.C., spent the weekend with her parents.
Mrs. C. B. Palmer and Miss Peggy Palmer spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Lynchburg and Lawrenceville. Stuart Palmer returned home with them after spending several days with his grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Elmore in Lawrenceville.
