Mrs. James Nicholson and two children, Angela and Timothy, of Newport News. They were joined on Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. William E. Nicholson, two sons, William E., Jr., and Wayne, and Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Nicholson and children, Patsy and Benita, all of Front Royal.
Mrs. Preston Avery and Mrs. Harold Brown of Winchester called on friends and relatives in the county on Sunday.
Mrs. James H. Pharr left Friday for her home in Newport News after a visit of several days with Mrs. L. J. Turner. On Friday Mrs. Pharr accompanied Mrs. Turner and Miss Carolyn Turner to a luncheon at the home of Mrs. C. C. Broaddus, Jr., at Serverna Park, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., and B. R. Cox visited Mrs. Cox Sunday in Staunton, and had lunch with George H. Davis, IIJ in Charlottesville.
Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., and daughters were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Austin in Warrenton who entertained in honor of Mrs. Austin’s father, Dr. George H. Davis' 76th birthday. Miss Cil Davis remained for a visit of several days with her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Davis.
Mrs. W. C. Hall, Mrs. Virginia Kuhn and son, Philip Kuhn were in Washington, D. C., shopping on Saturday and attended the film “Cleopatra”.
