Charles Russell Anderson, 55, died Friday, July 19, 1963 in Sarasota, Fla., after a long illness. Mr. Anderson, who spent his early, years in Rappahannock, was a son of the late Morgan Anderson and Mrs. Morgan Anderson of Front Royal. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Dorsey Anderson; a son, Charles Russell Anderson, Jr., and two granddaughters, all of Sarasota; two brothers, Carson and Loring Anderson, both of Washington, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Bromley of BerryviUe, Mrs. Martha Gillespie of Front Royal and Mrs. Mary Smoot of Washington, Va. A graveside funeral service was held Monday, July 22 at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Cemetery in Sarasota.
