Mrs. R. W. Quaintance reports that her husband is getting along well and will return home from the Culpeper Memorial Hospital next week if the lift arrives that has been ordered for him. It will be another month and a half before he can step on his foot. R. K. Peterson and Mr. Hudson of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at their home in Slate Mills and were hosts of a large party on Sunday. ' Charles H. Jenkins has been on a month's furlough from Fort Sill, Okla. and he and Mrs. Jenkins are visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins and family.
