The first meeting of Chi Sigma a local church youth group, was held Sunday, September 8 at 7:30 p. m. in Washington Baptist Church. Sponsors ot Chi Sigma arethe Rev. Charles Glaenzer and the Rev. Arnold Sorrells. New officers were elected at this initial meeting and are. Anne Jenkins, president; Joan Lee, vice president; Carolyn Johnston, secretary; and Roger Welch, treasurer. A system' of parliamentary proceedure was set up with a secf'et committee to enforce these rules. Regular programs are planned for each meeting. All students of high school age are cordially invited to attend. The next meeting will be held Sunday night, September 15 at 7:30 p. m. in Washington Baptist Church.
