My next question...now many inches of rain fall would be necessary to have by Oct. 15th to reduce atrazine residue to safe levels where 2 lbs. per acre have been applied at corn planting last spring? Answer..^ s much as you normally have from com planting time until Oct. 15th. A look at our rainfall record we have had 9.14 inches of rainfall since May 1st. of this year. Our average rainfall for the 18 year record keeping history for the period of May 1st to Oct. 1st is 15.8 inches. Thus we will need quite a lot of rain fall before we can safely seed small grains and legumes this fall without plow ing.
