Methodist Official Board met with Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillar don Friday, September 6, with the following presentMr. H. S. Barksdale, Rev. and Mrs. James Grimmer, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Emory Russell, and Mrs. Paul Miller. Plans were made for the Homecoming to be held at Methodist Church September 22.

Mrs. J. P. Cook is a patient in Winchester Hospital for treatment.

The WSCS Zone meeting for this area is to be held Thursday, September 12 at Amissville Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Colonel Dansby and Charles Foster showed films of the Flint Hill Parade and Carnival at the Flint Hill Fireball Sunday night, 8 p.m. A large crowd attended. Mrs. W. J. Kendrick, Jr., of Roanoke was the weekend guest of her sister-in-law Mrs. Frank W. Spalding and Mr. Spalding.
