Madison Livestock Market at Madison Mills has announced plans for its second Feeder Cattle Sale to be held on Sept. 27. Manager Doug Tucker said that plenty of buyers are expected to be on hand. The recent sale held to accommodate farmers hit by the drought, was well attended.

A Lawn Party will be held at the home of Mrs. Julie Jasper at Flat Woods, Friday September 13 at 8 p.m., sponsored by the Willing Workers Queen of the Year contest. There will be records and games and refreshments will be on sale. Everyone is invited.
