Highlighting the parade will be nearly 20 beautifully decorated floats, eleven bands or drum and bugle corps, some 12 other marching units, several majorette groups, antique cars, motorcycle riders, fire engines, horses, and five lovely young ladles from Warren County who are local beauty queens. The floats, bands, and drum and bugle corps will be ^dmpeting for $900.00 in cash prizes to be awarded winning entries in each of these cate-, gorles. Heading off the parade will be the cars of the Front Royal Chief of Police and Warren County Sheriff, followed by the band and cadet marching unit of Randolph Macon Academy, Front Royal. Next will be cars containing Congressman Marsh and other dignitaries. The first float entry to be seen will be that of the Front Royal Jaycees, which features a Christmas Nativity scene. This will be followed by the Gaithersburg,Md.,High School Band, several marching units and Miss Carol Lee Curl, Front Royal, the reigning Miss Winchester Tri-County. Throughout the parade floatsi bands; marching units such as local Cub Scout and Boy Scout groups, American Legion * units, the Air Force Reserve, majorettes; novelties; and other groups will be interspersed in colorful array.
