Mrs. J. B. Johnson Dinner guests on Thanksgiving Day of Mr. and Mrs. James William Coates were Dr. and Mrs. John P. Sneat^ Jr., Mrs. Kate Coates, Dana and Bill Snead. , Dr. and Mrs. John Peyton Snead, IV and children have returned from a visit with Mrs. Snead* 8 parents at Onacock. They were called there by the illness of Mrs. Snead’s father. Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison who is attending school at University of Virginia was in Sperryville from Wednesday until Friday, dividing her time with her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson and her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer. Guests for the holiday weekend of Mrs. Della Howard atj the Lee Highway Hotel were her daughter and granddaughters, Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor, and the Misses Ann Yates and Joyce Aylor of Arlington. George W. Brown is visiting his nephew and niece Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lucian, Brown in Elkin, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton and their son P. Lee Thornton, III spent the weekend in Staunton with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Jr., where they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and sons of Hamilton. Mrs. W. H. Lyne who recently returned from the Mem. orlal Hospital in Winchester has re-entered the hospital for further treatment. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague of Jenkins Hollow spent the holiday week-end in Devon Pa. with Mr. and Mrs. Richard
