EL B. Armstrong
Edward Brent Armstrong, 82, a retired farmer, died Wednesday, N o v e mber 27, 1963 at his home Rose Hill Farm, Amissville. A son of John Edward Armstrong and Lydia Brent Miller, both of Culpeper County, he was married to the late Ellice Button Armstrong. Survivors include two sons, Edward B. Armstrong, Jr., of Amissville and John F. Armstrong, Arlington; three daughters, Mrs. William L. Browning, Rixeyville, Mrs. Curtis W. Spiker, Arlington and Mrs. James P. Browning of Warrenton; four sisters, Mrs. Hugh Crigler of Rixeyville, Mrs. Minnie Rudasill and Mrs. Gertrude Clement of Culpeper, and Mrs. Kenneth P. Armstrong of Jeffersonton; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Jeffersonton Baptist Church, the Rev. Jesse Green officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Dr. John F. Armstrong, Jr., William G. Browning, Beverly W. ArmstrongsJames Pt- Browning, Jr., Robert Edward Armstrong Browning, Richard Emmett Browning and Curtis Spiker. Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
