By the time this issue of "The Rappahannock News" is printed, the new Medical Assistance for the Aged program will be in operation throughout Virginia. A . person will be eligible for aid under this program if he: 1. Is sixty-five years of age or older; 2. Is a resident of the State of Virginia; 3. Is.not receiving any other type of public assistance; 4. Is in need of medical care or treatment within limitations prescribed by the State Board of Welfare and Institutions; 5. Is in need of financial assistance in defraying cost of such medical care or treatment:

6. Is not an inmate of a public institution" except as a patient in a public medical institution;
