The following maxima have been placed on payment for medical care or treatment; 1. Physicians’ services - $150, including services in home, office, clinic, within a fiscal year; 2. Dental care-$100 within a fiscal year; 3. Prescribed drugs-$150, not including discharge drugs furnished to hospital patients within a fiscal year; v 4. Hospitallzatlon-35 days within a fiscal year; 5. Nursing home care- 60 days, immediately following any one period of hospitalization within a fiscal year; 6. Nursing services provided by professional or registered practical nurses- 60dayswittv in a fiscal ye ax'; . _ An applicant is responsible for the first $25.00 for expenses incurred for any one or a combination of physicians services, dental care, and prescribed drugs. Such expenses may have been incurrred in the month of application and : within the preceding three months Or may be subsequent to date of application. This is to prevent the local departments from being swamped with minor payments, according to the State Department.
