Amissville Decoration
Contest Winner
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Leonard were named first place winners in the'Christmas decoration contest sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan. The Leonard home was decorated with large candles on each side of the door which was outlined with greens and lights and a life size Santa graced the door. Mr. and Mrs. John Silvey, Jr. placed second. Their doors were outlined in lights and a large Sstar was placed above the house. Santa with his sled and deer dashed up the roof. • The home of. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest was third. The door was covered with foil and on it hung a Della Robia wreath. Greens surrounded the door and porch posts and evergreens in the yard were ablaze with lights. ,1 Honorable mention was given Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Hall.
