NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries on March 13, 1964 adopted the following Amendment to Regulation 2.
It shall be lawful to hunt bearded tuirkeys only in the counties of Albemarle, Alleghany, Amelia, Amherst, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, Brunswick, Campbell, Caroline, Carroll, Charles City, Charlotte, Chesterfield, Craig, Culpeper, Dinwiddle, Essex, Fairfax, Fauquier, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Greene Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, Henry, Highland, King George, Loudoun, Lunenburg, Madison, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Nelson, New Kent, Nottoway, Orange, Page, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Powhatan, Prince Edward, Prince George, Prince William, Rappahannock, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Southampton, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Surry, Sussex, Warren, Wythe and York, also in the counties of Smyth, Tatewell and Washington except on Clinch Mountain and Hidden Valley Wildlife Management Areas, from April 27, 1964 to May 2, 1964, dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 10 o’clock A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Bearded turkeys shall be hunted by calling. It shall be unlawful to use dogs or organise drives for the purpose of hunting.
