Did you know that cash wages aid to a household worker lust be reported to Internal evenue Service by each emloyer who pays cash wages f $50 or more to an employee uring the calendar quarter? These wages must be reorted on a quarterly tax ream which shows the amount f cash wages paid to the dolestic worker, her name and ocial security number. The eturn is filed with Internal evenue Service in the month rhich follows the end of the alendar quarter. The employee pays one-half f the social security tax and le employer one-half of the urrent 7 1/4 percent to be aid with the return.
