Raymond Walter
Raymond Walter, 77, of Baltimore died Sunday, April 5,1 1964. He was a native of Amissville, the son of John A. and Sally Belle Parr Walter. Surviving Mr. Walter are his wife, Mrs. Effie Shady Walter of Baltimore; one son, Raymond and one daughter Sally; one brother, C. R. (Bob) Walter, Charlottesville; and three sisters, Mrs. Julia Curtis, Front Royal, Mrs. Elizabeth Owens, Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Effie Hiss, Pasadena, Md. A funeral service was held Wednesday in Baltimore. Mrs. Julia Curtis and Mrs. J. L. Walter, accompanied by Amos and Byrne Walter of Warrenton, attended the funeral.
Daniel Oscar Coughlin
Daniel Oscar Coughlin, Sr., of 402 N. West Street, Culpeper, died Friday, April 3, 1964 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Son of the late John Coughlin and Mary Campbell his wife, and a native of Rappahannock County, he was 89. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R. E. Jenkins and Mrs. Russell Guinn, both of Culpeper, and Mrs. Mecie Thorhill of Washington, D.C two sons, Oscar Coughlin of Woodville and Elmer Coughlin of Washington, D. C.; four grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren; and one sistes Miss Olivia Coughlin of Culpeper.
A funeral service was held Sunday, April 5, in the Geest funeral chapel, with interment following in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Park P. Dickerson, pastor, of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church of which Mr. Coughlin was a member, conducted the last rites. Pallbearers were Woodrow Coughlin, Roy Settle, J. T. Mrs. Rosie Lee Walker, wife of Manuel Hardy Walker of V i e w t o w n, died S a t u r d ay, April 4, 1964 at her residence following a recent illness. Daughter of the late John W.
