Dance At Amissville
The Amissville Twirlettes will sponsor a dance Friday night, April 10 in Amissville fire hall from 8 until 12 o'clock. Music will be by The Pacers of Culpeper and admission is $1.25 per person.
Episcopal Group Visits „. Washington Cathedral
Members of the Sunday School of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bromfield Parish made a pilgrimage Saturday to the Washington Cathedral in Washington, D. C. and greatly enjoyed the tour of this beautiful church. Those making the trip were the Misses Nancy Buntin, Cartie Moffett and Leslie Hayes and Stuart Palmer, Bill Hayes and Page Moffett. The group was accompanied" by Sunday School Superintendent Milton Gore and Mrs. Gore, Mrs. W» A. Buntin, Mr* Fred Schaefer and Mrs. Wayne Hayes.
Named Baltimore
University President
Thomas G. Pullen, jr., of Catonsville, Md. will retire as State superintendent of schools of Maryland in June after holding that position for twenty two years. He has recently been named president ox the University of Baltimore. R. Loran Langsdale, chairman of the University board of trustees, announced Pullen's appointment on Monday. Dr. Pullen is the brother of Mrs. Fannie Pullen Easthatn of Flint Hill. He and Mrs. Pullen own a. webk-end home in Flint Hill, Odds and Ends, which they visit frequently.
