A demonstration on hot branding cattle was given at James F. Massie’s Meadow Grove Farm near Amissville last Thursday. Ike Ellers, assistant Extension Animal Husbandman, branded, the cattle with 8-inch numbers which are permanent identification. According to County Agent W. H. Lyne, five farmers indicated they would use this system.
