The Chester Gap Fire Company extinguished a 1/2 acre brush fire on property occupied fey Willie Gardner Wines on Saturday, April 11. No damage* The Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Josie Bowers of Peola Mills to the Warren Memorial Hospital on April 13th and returned her to her home on April 14._ Washington Fire Company reported to the house occupied by the Grigsby family on the property of Wade H. Massie, III on Saturday night. The house burned to the ground. Flint Hill Fire Company reported to the fire on the Massie property. Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mr. Grigsby to Warren Memorial Hospital Saturday night for treatment of possible burns. . On Sunday the Flint Hill Fire truck went to Front Royal to assist in pumping water as the Town water pump had broken. Am issville Fire Company answered a call to C. M. Clem’s farm Saturday night to extinguish a brush fire.
