Everyone has their ups and downs and the weather is no exception. Temper atu res climbed up in the 60’s Satuiday, jessamine was blooming and the forsythia budding. How ever, Sunday gave a chilly reception as snow blanketed the area and temperatures dropped to the 20’s by nightfall.

The fluffy white stuff began to fall at daybreak and continued for twelve hours, piling up about eight inches in the county. Skiiers rejoiced and road crews frowned; school children grinned with satisfaction at the thought of no school.: and mothers grimmaced at the thought of boots, wet jeans and gloves and tracks in the house.
